About Taipei
Taiwan is one island in the east of China. The second tallest tower in the world Taipei 101 is one landmark in this city buried between the mountains and a green forest, and interlaced by speedways and high bridges. The place is busy, like a lot of cities in Asia, safe and people are welcoming.
Taipei is alive by day and by night. You need a taxi to take you around the city because all the interesting places are not concentrated in the same area. Regarding the food, you can find cheap restaurants easily or street food in each district of the city. The zoo is maybe one of the best one I have visited, a lot of animal species, huge and the environment is excellent for each one of them. Near this place, the cable car for Maokong and Zhinan Temple are a good idea to escape the city for one afternoon.
One secret place to discover downtown with another view instead of Taipei 101 is the sky bar of the Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel.
