About Ho Chi Minh City

The first feeling once you have reached Ho Chi Minh is the multitude of motorbikes and the effervency of people across the streets. The downtown kept his charm : main avenues, green spaces, old architecture from the colonial past. In same time, it’s easy to visit by walk across each spots : the central post office, the cathedral, the independence Palace … You can also grab a motorbike and move around. The taxi and motorbike have a good value.

The second feeling is there is no huge infrastructures you will can find in others capital. Of course, some districts are under construction with modern skyscrapers. Overall, the people are welcoming, the Vietnamese food is tasty and you can find easily many kind of cuisines through the city. One of the specialities to try as snack is the Banh Mi.

Otherwise, the downtown can be visited in two days taking time to visit quietly the places. If you wish to have a stunning view of the city, the Bitexco Tower is the place to be.
