About Baku
Azerbaijan is located close to the Caspian sea, in the north of the Iran. The city is under the level of the sea. Baku is beginning to develop quickly. In recent years, the city modernizes architecture through new projects directed by famous architects in the world.
The old city of Baku is small and you can find shops and souvenirs. The most of the main places to see are located the long of the bay : Museum, Palace, Mall… Otherwise, the capital is quiet, safe and the people are welcoming. From the top of the Maiden’s Tower, you can admire the view of the old city with the Flame Towers in background. The night, the ride on the bay is nice, sometimes attractions take place. One insolite place is the land of oil’s derricks, close to the Bibi-Heybat Mosque, very famous from the James Bond movie.
