Jordan – Amman

About Amman

The first feeling you have when you discover Amman is the immensity of the city. The city is built on and around the hills. The buildings are very tight and traditional. That’s maybe which make his charm. You won’t see modern buildings except in the new district. But don’t bother. In the middle of the city, on the L-shaped hill, there is the Jabal Al-Qal’a, an very old place, built during the Neolithic period. From here, you will have an amazing 360° view of the city. The Roman Theater is also to visit. Near the King Abdullah I Mosque, you can walk and discover the market with good local products. Amman is a nice and authentic city. One long week end is enough if you want to take your time and enjoy fully of the city.
