Russia – Moscow

About Moscow

Before to travel to Russia, we can have some blur ideas or some stereotypes about how is the country. These ones are mainly based from movies we saw early, specially when we were younger. After to have spent one week in the country, I could define, with modesty, another version, different of what I’ve been imagined, of course in the positive way. I discovered many places which deserved to be visited at least once in his life.

First, the Kremlin that I discovered by night and then visited the day after, is imposing, massive and huge. This is a part of the world landmarks. Churches and cathedrals covered by golden domes inside are interesting and beautiful by their shapes. The Red Square is amazing when you go out from the Kremlin fortress. You have a stunning view on the Saint Basil’s Cathedral. All around, there is many curiosities to have look: the luxury Gum Mall, Bolshoi Theater, Tverskaya Street.

Overall, in summer time, it is a beautiful and green city, with a lot of charm. There are so many parks and it is peaceful to stroll around. You can easily crossed the downtown (first circle) by walk. The architecture is particularly amazing in many districts. The metro network is easy, smart and even easier than others cities in the world.
