About Tehran

When you arrive in Tehran, it is a surprise waiting for you. You can put aside preconceived ideas. First, it’s the size of the city, between the snowy mountain range, when you go there in winter. Then it’s the welcome is reserved for you by the people of both sides of the city. And finally the cultural richness and the beauty and flavor of the food.

For a short trip, it is desirable to visit the main attractions Azadi Tower, Golestan Palace, Milad Tower and the Grand Bazaar. Some addresses for the local cuisine that is popular : Timche Akbarian, an ancient Jewish bank converted into a traditional restaurant, the place is very friendly and you can taste the Dizi, one local specialty. Another address, in the Grand Bazaar, the Muslem Restaurant, the service is fast and the food is plentiful. Finally, if time permits, you can have dinner to Darband in one of the restaurant.
