Luxembourg – Luxembourg City

About Luxembourg City

Luxembourg City is one of these quiet cities where it feels good to take the time to enjoy. You can visit the city for one full day or a week end. First, you can have one coffee at the Place Guillaume II. You will find some shops around. If the weather is well, I advice you to go by walk at the Mudam. It will take about 30 minutes but the landscape is nice. You will cross the river Uelzecht by the bridge “Rue du Pont”. Next, you will walk through the forest “Parc des Trois Glands”. Finally, you will arrive in the new part of the Luxembourg (Clausen and Kirchberg), a business district with the modern architecture. There are shuttles between this part of the city and the downtown. The opposite side of the city “Vallée la Pétrusse” is as well nice for the walk. After to walk around the city, you will realize that the city is surrounded of green hills and bridges which give access to the downtown.

During the last few years, I’ve had the luck to travel in countries that are important to me. Each trip is a new experience : one way to get knowledge about the country, to understand and to have one point of view without relying on books. ROMNES World is primarily a blog where I express my passion for photography and travels through anecdotes and basic information about each countries I have been to. Welcome to my blog to share my adventures.
